easy to install and provides lots of options, in terms of color, shape,

shades - one dark and one light, for the purpose, along with
plexi-glass. Transfer the measurements of your backsplash onto a
template and from the template, to the plexi-glass. Get the glass cut as
per the dimensions. Fitting the plexi-glass in the backsplash area,
drill holes in the corners and mount it to the wall with finishing
screws and grommets. Stick the holographic tiles on the plexi-glass,
alternating between the two colors, to create a checkerboard.
Vinyl Tile Backsplash
Installing a vinyl tile backsplash is very simple and easy. If possible,
go with the peel and stick variety of vinyl tiles. Before starting the
installation, it is advisable to create a template and play with the
designs. This way, you will know exactly what pattern you want for your
backsplash. Now, start putting up the tiles as per the design that you
have in mind or on the template. You can also use a rolling pin to press
the tiles into place. After all the tiles have been affixed at the right
place, it is the time to install your new outlet covers.
Colorful Tile Backsplash
You can create a very colorful and contemporary looking backsplash with
the help of glass tiles and marble. With the help of trowel, spread the
thinset onto the wall, over area that can be covered within the nest
10-15 minutes. Apply glue on the backside of the tiles and stick them to
the wall. Follow this with marbles, using them as per the desired
pattern. After 15-20 minutes, wipe the paper on the tiles with damp
sponge and gently remove it. Apply the grout after 24 hours, wait for 20
minutes and wipe off the excess. Do not use too much water.
Mosaic Tile Backsplash
You can also get a mosaic tile backsplash for your kitchen. Get the
required number of tiles from the market and start the installation at
the most visible part of the backsplash. Applying the tiles along the
countertop, move towards the mastic, giving them a slight bump to let
them set in properly. After all the tiles have been fixed, it is the
time to start the cutting process. For the purpose, slide the tile
slowly through the wet-saw along your mark. After around 12 hours, apply
the grout. Finally, clean the tiles, first with a wet cloth and then,
with a dry one.
